Following the release of her new single ‘11249,’ Fears announces a headline show at Dublin’s Sugar Club this spring.
Dublin-born interdisciplinary artist Fears, a.k.a. Constance Keaene, has announced a spring headline at Dublin’s Sugar Club on 3rd April. Tickets will go on sale from 16th February at 10am.
The exciting news comes just after the release of Keane’s most recent single, ‘11249,’ which marks the second drop from her upcoming March album affinity. Featuring Jemima Coulter on brass and Ailbhe Reddy on accompanying vocals, ‘11249’ was inspired by the New York City skyline, ruminating on the conflicting emotions that can arise while looking back on the past and trying to enjoy the present.

“Sometimes you encounter things that hit you so hard you think, ‘Wow, so if I had actually died a few years ago when I tried to, I’d never have gotten to see and experience this,’” Keane said while reflecting on the latest single.
A tender and honest folk song, ‘11249’ follows the hauntingly beautiful ‘4th of the 1st,’ both tracks helping to pave the way for Keane’s March release. Made up of 10 self-produced tracks, affinity draws on human connection, intimacy and moments of peace in the midst of big-city chaos. Combining dreamy electronics, acoustic samples and evocative vocals, Keane deftly blurs the division between personal and universal.
Written and recorded between London, New York and Dublin, affinity is now available for pre-order digitally or on vinyl and will be hitting streaming platforms on 22nd March.
