The upcoming mammoth project follows up from last year's Torpedo , and marks the end of a fruitful songwriting period for the Newport band.
British rockers Feeder have announced a new double album Black / Red, out 5 April 2024 on Big Teeth Music via Townsend Music / Absolute Label Services.
Black / Red completes a trilogy of albums joined to 2022’s UK Top 5 album Torpedo. Marking the announcement is a new double A-side single featuring the songs ‘Playing With Fire’ and ‘ELF’.
‘ELF’, which lead singer and guitarist Grant Nicholas describes as “a call to arms”, and ‘Playing With Fire’s “roller coaster ride of self-discovery”, reaffirm the band’s knack for addictive melodies and sparking riffs.
“Cohesive and connected rather than a concept”, Black / Red is pipped to be a continuation of Torpedo’s conversation, but at the same time marks a full stop on a prolific songwriting period for the band.

“I really wanted the album to be split in two parts for the listener, CD1 and CD2, black and red rather than be one long player, almost like a musical production with an interval,” said Nicholas.
“Making it was a very creative time for me as a writer and a real labour of love. Making the Black / Red album for me personally was a musical pilgrimage and I feel the end result is undeniable Feeder.”
The band will also be touring the album across the UK in 2024. Tickets are available now with pre-orders of the album and go on general sale from this Friday 27th October.
