A banging EP named after a picturesque Cork harbour town? That’s what White Collar Boy have coming our way
Gavin White and Mark Cummins, aka White Collar Boy, are gearing up for the release of their six–track EP, Kinsale. The duo have road-tested the tunes at their live shows, supporting Factory Floor, Com Truise, Creep, Soul Clap and others. They even have The Mighty Stef lending his vocals to one of the songs. Kinsale drops May 25 on vinyl and digital, with the launch party the same night at the Button Factory (free admission!) You can also catch the guys at their new residency at Pygmalion every second Thursday of the month. Check whitecollarboy.com.
In the West, a big shout-out goes to Get Deeper, another collective helping to keep Galway’s scene alive. They describe themselves as “a DJs project to promote nu–disco, deephouse and techhouse music”. Look for Koolcharski, Rysa, N3J@T aka Sin on May 26.
