Among other positive developments, the band have been endorsed by rising Cardiff indie popsters, Los Campesinos, who caught their SXSW appearance in Austin. "Ellie emailed us to say that a couple of them had come to the gig to see us, and loved it" FLA lead singer Maykay tells Hot Press in an exclusive tour diary, published in the latest issue of the magazine. "I think that makes us friends!"
The band supported the Von Bondies during their Stateside jaunt – and the Michigan rockers returned the compliment by joining Fight Like Apes onstage for one song at their final Texas show.
