Where are you now and what are you doing?

First gig you played?
I think it was a gig called Girlcxde in 2020, just before Covid. It was me playing the track from my iPhone and John Mullarkey playing guitar. Super embarrassing to think back on, but it was so fun.
Most memorable gig?
Opening for Still Woozy on his European tour was insanely cool. London was so fun – everyone scared me before the gig saying they’d be a tough crowd, but they were actually the nicest, most memorable audience. Also, playing with JPEGmafia; there were mosh pits and the crowd was insane.
What has been the most ‘pinch me’ moment of your career so far?
I was on the underground in London and two girls came up to me. They were like, ‘Oh my god, are you EFÉ?!’ And I debated on saying yes, cause I looked so bad that day. I said yes and they were super shocked – they were like, ‘We made a magazine and you were featured in the latest issue’. They pulled out the magazine and there was a little pic of me from my music video ‘Lime’. It was insane, and what are the chances that we were in the same station at the same time?
Most embarrassing thing you’ve done either drunk or sober?

Forgetting to private all my YouTube videos from when I was 12, and people mentioning they watched my music video, but also loved my chubby bunny challenge video that was recommended after.
What shite jobs have you had in the past?
Everything retail.
Last record you bought, borrowed, or blagged?
Raymond Scott’s Manhattan Research Inc was gifted to me by a friend. It’s major inspo for me, so I was shook when I got it.
Who’d be in your dream band line-up?
The Cardigans, Cornelius and SZA.

Sexiest musician on the planet?
Kermit The Frog.
What song would you have played at your funeral?
‘Not Like Us’ by Kendrick Lamar.
