Their new single, 'Out Of My Head', is out this Friday.
Four-and-a-half years after the release of their latest album, Ruins, First Aid Kit are set to return with their eagerly anticipated follow-up, Palomino – out November 4.
Ahead of the album, they'll release a new single, 'Out Of My Head', this Friday, August 12.
The Swedish duo, made up of sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg, took to social media today to share the news.
"We’ve been waiting for this moment for so long," they wrote on Instagram today. "We can finally say it. #Palomino, our FIFTH (!!) album is out November 4th and our new single #OutofMyHead will be out Friday August 12th.
"We love this record," they continued. "It’s a special one. We can't wait for you to hear it. Pre order LP & CD and pre save #OutOfMyHead now. UK! Big tour news coming soon. Pre order from our store for early access to tickets and stay tuned for more info. HERE WE GOOOO!"

Ruins, released in January 2018, was critically acclaimed, and scored First Aid Kit their second Brit Award nomination for International Group.
In 2021, the duo shared a live album, Who By Fire, featuring songs by Leonard Cohen.
