Rising artist/producer G KAYE has today released his new track ‘Shadows’ featuring Stephanie Rainey.

After emerging last year, G KAYE secured his first major label credit with Warner UK, producing Stephanie Rainey’s track ‘Nothing Of You Left To Love’ which was co-written with Ed Sheeran’s frequent collaborator Amy Wadge.

Since then he has established himself as an artist to watch having gone on to write and produce tracks for some of Ireland’s top emerging artists including Hermitage Green and Robert Grace, along with working across the world in studios from LA to London.

‘Shadows’ showcases multi-instrumentalist G KAYE at his best. With stomping beats and hooks aplenty, it's a sonically rich track that brings together a hypnotising fusion of electro-pop with subtle funk overtones. Combined with gloriously lush vocals from Stephanie Rainey, the song markd another milestone in G KAYE’s career.

Chatting about the idea behind the video G KAYE says 'The music video is primarily centred around nature and how this can be used as a mirror for real life. During the recording I wanted to use sounds that were organic and natural so I leaned heavily on the ocean, breath, wind and voice. We then went out and filmed lots of landscapes to reflect the natural feel of the track and brought these into the music video.’
