This year's excellent lineup will include Basement Jaxx, Hothouse Flowers and more.
Beginning in 2011, Stendhal Festival annually brings the best of international and local talent to Northern Ireland, in the gorgeous setting of Ballymully Cottage Farm, Limavady. An innovative and unique promotor of the arts, Stendhal is a collaborative and community driven festival.
English electronic duo Basement Jaxx were one of the acts revealed to be performing at this years' Stendhal. With hit dance tracks, the group has brought their 90s underground roots to a wide audience, wining the BRIT award for best dance act in 2002 and 2004.
Also appearing are Irish musical legends Hothouse Flowers. Sure to be a massive crowd pleaser, the group has captured listeners with their combination of soul, alternative rock and traditional Irish music. In their career spanning 3 decades, they have released 13 albums and numerous hit singles such as 'Don’t Go', 'I can see clearly now', 'The Rose' and 'Your love goes on'.
The bill includes a long list of other exciting acts including singer-songwriter David Keenan, spellbinding duo The Lost Brothers, beloved Irish singer Mary Coughlan, and experimental electronic duo Ryan Vail and Elma Orkestra. More acts will be announced in subsequent weeks, rounding out an already excellent lineup.
