The album features previously unreleased live recordings of 'Gypsy' and 'Don't Stop'
Fleetwood Mac have announced they will be releasing the Mirage Tour ’82 live album on September 20.
The album features recordings from the band’s 1982 Mirage tour, which saw the group embarking on a 31-city tour of the US. The live album was recorded over the course of 2 shows at the LA Forum.
Mirage was the band's 13th studio album, and the 4th to feature the lineup of Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks, Mick Fleetwood, Christine McVie and John McVie.
The first single, the live version of ‘Don’t Stop’, was released last Monday. The 22 track LP will also feature 5 other previously unreleased recordings, including ‘Landslide’, and ‘Never Going Back Again’.
On its original release in 1982, Mirage became the band’s 3rd album to reach No. 1 in America, and 4th LP to go platinum.
The shows at the LA forum had been previously recorded and released on VHS, but to reduce the length of the 135-minute show to 80 minutes, 9 songs were omitted.
