Florence Road to make Mexican debut as special guests of Sombr
The Bray band are set to continuing expanding their international fanbase, with two shows at the Pepsi Center in Mexico City
Florence Road are set to join Sombr as special guests at his upcoming Mexican shows – marking the first time the rapidly rising Irish four-piece will have played in the country. They'll support the American star at Mexico City's Pepsi Center on January 29 & 30, 2027, as part of his You Are The Reason Tour.
Other special guests announced for various legs of the tour include major names like Interpol, The Last Dinner Party, Tom Odell, Dove Cameron, Balu Brigada, King Princess, The Hellp, and Hannah Jadagu.
The news comes just a few weeks after Florence Road announced details of their own UK and European tour, taking place in May 2027. The Bray band are set to cap off their 2026 with a run of Irish dates, including two shows at Dublin's 3Olympia Theatre.
With just two EPs under their belts, Florence Road have already established themselves as one of the most buzzed-about new bands on these shores and far beyond. They just completed a sold-out US tour – during which they suffered an unexpected setback in Los Angeles, after their gear was stolen from a van. Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam ultimately stepped in to lend them equipment, ensuring the show could go on.
Last week saw Florence Road release their latest single, 'Wish Upon You', via Warner Records. Their previous release, '7563', has clocked up around 32.7 million Spotify streams since its release in August.
