The English three-piece recently released 'Wake Me Up,' a single that will appear on the band's upcoming "dance or disco record."
As part of their UK and European tour, Foals will perform at Dublin's Fairview Park on June 27, 2022.
Earlier this month, the Oxford band announced tour dates for the UK and confirmed with Hot Press that they would indeed stop in Dublin.
“I've got great memories of playing Ireland," Foals frontman Yannis Philippakis told Hot Press. "We will be coming there as well, they just haven't quite organised it yet. It's just difficult for the touring industry to get back to speed fully with the lockdowns."
Now, the band have confirmed their return to Ireland and will perform at Fairview Park next summer.
The tour announcement follows the recent release of their single, 'Wake Me Up.' Sonically, the track reflects their upcoming dance-y, disco album, which is set to be released in 2022.

"There's a journey that the band has gone on experimenting with different palettes of sound," said Philippakis in a recent press release. "This time there was a desire to take it back to more of the initial idea of the band where the rhythm, the grooves and the guitars are interlocking architecturally. We wanted to tap into the physicality of music. And we wanted it to feel good."
Tickets for Foals' Fairview Park show go on sale this Friday, November 19 at 10am on Ticketmaster.ie.
