Following the release of numerous singles in recent years, Reylta is currently working on her debut album, which will be released later this year.
Irish folk singer and songwriter Reylta released her new single 'Lucifer's Love' today, 17th March. Despite not being a native Gaeilge speaker, Reylta shared another version of her latest single in Gaeilge called 'Leannán an Diabhail'. Since the singer feels a deep connection to Ireland‘s native language and culture, Reylta worked hard on her Irish in order to bring the song to fruition.
'Lucifer's Love' or 'Leannán an Diabhail' is a modern take on the Irish tradition of storytelling, following the mythical tale of doomed love between the devil and a mortal who is condemned to hell for their passion.
According to Reylta, the song tells the "unusual story of the intimate relationship between good and evil. When there is love and light in us, life becomes brighter. Be merciful, forgive your past, and work with it to attract a better future."

The Dublin-based singer recently graduated from BIMM and her talent is already being recognised. She was featured in Three's City Stages initiative and was tipped as one of Radio Nova's New Local Hero finalists due to her distinct sound.
Reylta cites Florence and the Machine, Damien Rice, and Hozier as her primary influences. Her music is steeped in Irish traditions and heritage, blending poetic lyrics, luscious string arrangements, and rich choral harmonies to create a sound that is both familiar and uniquely hers.
In addition to two sold-out shows in Whelan's Dublin and a tour across Ireland, the UK, and the Netherlands, Reylta also won the Eimear Noonan Bursary Prize in 2021. Her previous singles include 'Fools Games' in 2019, 'Semi Detached to The Flats' in February 2021, and 'October' on Halloween 2022. In May 2022, she recorded her debut album in Donegal, which will be released later this year.
