Ahead of the release of Fontaines D.C.'s eagerly anticipated new album ROMANCE on August 23, the band have announced a series of global listening parties – including events at Spindizzy Records in Dublin and MusicZone in Cork, both taking place on August 15.

The events will feature an early playback of ROMANCE, as well as exclusive giveaways. They will also be giving fans to win one of 1,200 hand-numbered, screen-printed vinyl LPs.

Listening parties are also set to take place in cities and towns across the UK (August 15); the US (August 17); and Asia, Europe, Latin America and Canada (August 22). See the full list of participating stores here.

ROMANCE – which has been described as Fontaines D.C.'s "most ambitious, expansive record yet" – is the band's first album with producer James Ford, as well as their first to be released through XL Recordings. It follows 2022's Skinty Fia, 2020's A Hero's Death, and 2019's Dogrel.

In the run-up to the release, they've shared the singles 'Starburster' and 'Favourite'.
