The record’s newest edition features the new track ‘Before You I Just Forget’ and more.
Fontaines D.C. have put out the deluxe edition of their acclaimed fourth album Romance, adding three new songs to the original 11-track lineup.
It includes the new track ‘Before You I Just Forget’, the recent single ‘It’s Amazing To Be Young’ and an unreleased live version of 'Starburster / In Heaven (Lady In The Radiator Song)’, which sees the band melding their original tune with David Lynch’s ‘In Heaven (Lady In The Radiator Song)’, which originally featured on the soundtrack of Lynch’s 1977’s Eraserhead film.
Speaking on the new music, Conor Curley said “‘Before You I Just Forget’ is a song that started with a vision of this really blown out sound, something that heaved and shifted with new details becoming apparent every time you would listen.
“Like never being able to step in the same river twice, the song morphs and changes, finishing with an incredible string part by Grian.”

The release precedes a busy summer for the band. In addition to the 24 date North American tour, which culminates in three sold out shows at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom, Fontaines D.C. will headline All Together Now festival on August 1, and perform at four sold out UK outdoor headline shows this summer.
Romance came out last year to widespread critical acclaim, grabbing two Grammy nominations, winning the Album Award at the Rolling Stone UK Awards 2024, and is The Independent and Time Out Album of 2024, as well as Hot Press’ Album of the Year.
