Fontaines D.C. are set to celebrate the release of A Hero's Death with a special album release show.
With their highly anticipated new album A Hero's Death just around the corner, current Hot Press cover stars Fontaines D.C. have announced a special live-streamed album release show, 'A Night At Montrose, Dublin', to be broadcast on August 3.
Filmed by Collective Dublin within 2FM Radio’s studio in Montrose, the live-stream, airing at 8pm Irish time, will see the band perform their new album, out on July 31, in its entirety for the very first time – alongside selected tracks from their debut, Dogrel. A live Q&A with the band will also mark the occasion.
A link to the livestream will be emailed to anyone pre-ordering the album via Fontaines D.C.'s store, before 9pm on August 2. Fans will receive their link one hour before the performance begins.
The news follows the announcement of the band’s 2021 UK tour, which includes their biggest ever UK headline at London’s Alexandra Palace.
You can also get the inside story on how A Hero's Death was made in the new issue of Hot Press – out now.
