Arctic Monkeys' forthcoming new album The Car will arrive on October 21 via Domino.
Arctic Monkeys have shared details of a North American tour for 2023, with Dubliners Fontaines D.C. slated to be their support band.
The Sheffield band will head Stateside next summer, kicking the tour off at The Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota on August 25. They conclude the tour at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum in California, US on September 29.
The shows will be in support of the band’s seventh album, The Car, which is released on October 21 via Domino. Their last outing was Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino, which arrived in 2018.

Arctic Monkeys' upcoming Dublin concert had a change of venue, with the band now set to play Malahide Castle instead of Marlay Park next June. The long-running outfit are set to play an outdoor gig at the north Dublin venue on June 20, 2023.
The band, who burst onto the music scene with their hit single 'I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor' in 2005, played a string of festivals this summer including Electric Picnic. Arctic Monkeys' UK and Ireland tour will kick off Bristol’s Ashton Gate Stadium on May 29 and the following string of shows also includes outdoor gigs in Manchester, Middlesbrough, Norwich, Swansea, Southampton and Glasgow.
Tickets for the English rockers' stadium tour next year went on general sale last Friday, with high demand being reported on ticket sites and across social media.
The four-piece were also the musical guests on last night’s edition of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in the US, during which they performed ‘Body Paint’.
Tickets go on general sale here this Friday (October 7) at 10am local time. Fans can also register for a verified fan pre-sale, which ends at 10am ET (3pm BST) tomorrow (October 4), here.
In April, Fontaines D.C. debuted at the top of the Official Irish Albums Chart with their newest album, Skinty Fia – scoring their first ever No.1 album in Ireland in the process.
Their 2019 debut album, Dogrel, peaked at No.4, while 2020's A Hero's Death reached No.2. In 2020, A Hero's Death was in a fierce head-to-head race on the Official Irish Albums Chart with The Coronas' True Love Waits – with The Coronas ultimately taking the top spot.
