The Dublin band performed a cover of the traditional song live for SiriusXMU Sessions.
Fontaines D.C. have covered The Pogues' version of traditional song 'I'm A Man You Don't Meet Every Day' for Sirius XMU Sessions. The Grammy-nominated band's appearance as this week's guest on the American indie-rock station's XMU Sessions also saw them share exclusive versions of songs from A Hero's Death, alongside an interview with host Jenny Eliscu.
Their cover arrives just days after the release of Crock Of Gold: A Few Rounds with Shane MacGowan in cinemas.
The Pogues' version of 'I'm A Man You Don't Meet Every Day' appeared on their classic 1985 album Rum Sodomy & The Lash – featuring bass player Cáit O'Riordan on vocals.
