Last night, Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins played the Acoustic-4-A-Cure gig, along with Rami Jaffee, where they debuted a new blues-driven track called ‘The Sky Is A Neighbourhood’ from their upcoming album.
The Acoustic-4-A-Cure concert was organised by James Hetfield and Sammy Hagar to raise money for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital in San Francisco.
“I figured on the way up here, I thought ‘fuck it let’s play a new song man. We’ve never played this song in front of anybody. It’s called ‘The Sky Is A Neighbourhood’”, Grohl said introducing the track. Check out a live performance of ‘The Sky Is A Neighbourhood’ here:

Though they have not yet confirmed a release date, it is believed the band have been working on their new album. Foo Fighters will also be headlining Glastonbury in 2017 along with Ed Sheeran and Radiohead.
