From their head-spinning new EP Colour, 'Forceful Mercies' is not the strongest weapon in Futures Apart's armory, but it still does a rather fine job of evoking the Top Of The Pops class of '82, particularly synth pop heavy hitters like Depeche Mode and the Human League.
