The ex-Iron Maiden front man had continual health problems leading up to his time of passing
Paul Di'Anno, who was lead singer of Iron Maiden from 1978 to 1981 has died in his home at 66. Despite his continual health struggles, the singer had continued to perform in a wheelchair for a number of years.
Conquest Music (his label) released a statement confirming Di'Anno's passing reading, "On behalf of his family, Conquest Music are sad to confirm the death of Paul Andrews, professionally known as Paul Di'Anno. Paul passed away at his home in Salisbury at the age of 66."
"Born in Chingford, East London on 17th May 1958, Paul first came to prominence as lead singer of English Heavy Metal band Iron Maiden between 1978 and 1981."
