Midge Ure, Brush Shiels and more will play the musical extravaganza on Vance's Estate, Clones.
Monaghan gets musical this weekend, as the Fortstock Festival returns after a year's break. Taking place this Saturday and Sunday (June 14 & 15) on Vance's Estate, Clones, within the beautiful surrounds of the Drumlin Hills, organisers are promising that "there are no gimmicks; here it's all about good music."
Tomorrow is headlined by much-loved Fleetwood Mac cover act, Mack Fleetwood, who will deliver live renditions of hits from the Peter Green era, through Rumours and on to the present day. Also on the Saturday, legendary six-stringer Brush Shiels will play, along with Cavan youngster The Whereabouts, singer-songwriter Finnian, local heroes The Vinylheads and more.
Sunday finds the likes of Shouting At Planes and Future Phantoms performing, before Ultravox star Midge Ure graces Fortstock in style with a career-spanning solo set. Kopy Kat Killers will bring proceedings to a close.
All this for the low price of €40 for a weekend pass and €25 for one day.
Teenage (16-17 years old) tickets are €25 for the weekend and €15 for the day, whilst children under 16 go free with an adult.
