Fortune Faded
It’s a shame that a band of such influence and potential won’t partake in a new adventures and experiments.
Of course, RHCP have already earned their stripes as a world class act and a massive force to contend with, having displayed consistent originality, musical dexterity and appeal for a number of years. Why is it, then, that this single is a boring carbon copy of any track lifted from their last album? It’s not even a particularly daring spin on their tried-and-tested formula. Obviously the band have found a flavour and they’re sticking with it, but it’s a shame that a band of such influence and potential won’t partake in a new adventures and experiments.
