DeVito and Valli began performing together in a group called the Four Lovers in 1956. In 1960, they partnered with Gaudio and Nick Massi to become The Four Seasons.
Some of their biggest hits include 'O What a Night', 'Sherry', and 'Walk Like a Man'. The Four Seasons went on to become one of the most successful 'doo-wop' bands in the 1960s. DeVito played lead guitar, but quit the band in 1970 telling their fans that he was tired of touring.
The massively successful Broadway musical 'Jersey Boys' was made about the group's career.
