Four Weeks EP
Yngve Wieland’s debut EP brings with it shades of early Bright Eyes and David Kitt throughout its five tracks. While exploring familiar lyrical territories of lost love and all that goes with it, Wieland, at his best, manages to draw the listener in with his wistful vocals and stripped-back guitar hooks.

While exploring familiar lyrical territories of lost love and all that goes with it, Wieland, at his best, manages to draw the listener in with his wistful vocals and stripped-back guitar hooks. On ‘Easier For You’, the EP’s stand out, the pounding of drums counters a mournful vocal. Certainly, some of the ideas seem half baked at times, but there’s still enough here to retain a sparkle and a shine.
