'Livin a Lie' is the first single off of Foxygen's upcoming album.
Indie rock duo Foxygen released new single 'Livin a Lie' and announced their upcoming album Seeing Other People, which will be released by Jagjaguwar April 26.
The nine-track album is the California-based band's sixth LP, following 2017's Hang. Foxygen is comprised of Jonathan Rado and Sam France, who will be publishing his memoir, Sam Francisco: Confessions of an Indie Rock Star, based on his time in the band and his experiences in the music industry.
In a press statement, France described the themes of the album: "Goodbye to the drugs, to the partying. Goodbye to my twenties now, Goodbye to my Saint Laurent-model-body. Goodbye, hopefully, to the anxiety attacks. Goodbye to beating myself up because I didn’t fit into those leather pants anymore. Fuck it. Goodbye to the facilities. And goodbye the leeches in my life."
