Francie Conway shares album of reworked hits, <em>Another Night In Amsterdam</em>

Another Night In Amsterdam features remastered, reworked, and extended Francie Conway classics, following his previous LP Hidden Gems.

Irish rock-musician Francie Conway releases Another Night in Amsterdam, an album packed with remastered and reworked beloved hits.

Another Night in Amsterdam continues the work of critically acclaimed album Hidden Gems, Francie Conway's 2020 album featuring outstanding performances from iconic musicians.

The accompanying band features John Woolloff, Sebastian Santa-Maria, Don Harris, John Verity, Terry Uttley, Alan Silson and Nick Payne.

The album includes 'To the Edge of Time' and 'One Night In Amsterdam.' 'To the Edge of Time' was originally released in 1984, several months before Francie and his band played the Paleo Festival in Nyon, Switzerland.

The song's success transformed the event's expected audience of 4,000 into an astounding 25,000 people, not including those who saw it broadcasted on Swiss, French, and German television.

Conway expressed hope the remastered, expanded reworked, and songs would be able to reach new audiences and bring back fond memories for old fans.

Also on the track is an extended track of 'Don't Mess With My Heart' by Queen and David Bowie producer David Richards. The song was originally recorded in Mountain Studio, in Montreux, Switzerland.

“While we were mixing some tracks in Mountain, David Bowie arrived in to the studio to invite David Richards to start recording with him. This collaboration led to the classic Iggy Pop album, 'Blah-Blah-Blah' plus many more productions from the two Davids and also of course Queen."

"Richards did this extended mix of ‘Don’t Mess With My Heart’ mainly to showcase his exceptional skills as a producer to Bowie and Freddie, not as a mix for the record company. This is its first ever release.”
