The Eurovision's semi-finals are due to take place Tuesday, May 9th.
80’s legendary pop group, Frankie Goes To Hollywood reunited for their first performance in 36 years on Sunday.
The band’s original lineup of Holly Johnson, Paul Rutherford, Mark O’Toole, Brian Nash, and Peter Gill, reunited this weekend for the opening festivities of Liverpool’s upcoming Eurovision song contest. Fan-captured footage sees the outfit perform their hit, ‘Welcome To The Pleasuredome.’
In the lead up to their reunion, the band’s guitarist, Brian Nash told BBC that getting back together for a performance in their hometown of Liverpool “felt like a good thing to do.” He continued, explaining that they were looking forward to feeling “a bit of Scouse love.”
Meanwhile, Dublin-based indie rock four-piece, Wild Youth, who are representing Ireland at this year's Eurovision, are gearing up for their semi-final performance this Tuesday, May 9th.
The Dublin outfit, speaking to Newstalk on Saturday, told The Anton Savage show how pressure and nerves had already kicked in.
The group's lead vocalist Conor O’Donohoe explained how “terrifying” the competition is, but that “Pressures and nerves are good."

“It means you care about something, and you just want to do the best you can," he added.
