We’re also jolly excited about Rubber, the new horror film by director Quentin Dupieux, a.k.a. French electro house merchant Mr. Oizo.
“Rubber is the story of Robert, an inanimate tyre that has been abandoned in the desert, and suddenly and inexplicably comes to life,” reads the promo blurb. “As Robert roams the bleak landscape, he discovers that he possesses terrifying telepathic powers that give him the ability to destroy anything he wishes without having to move.”

Johnny Thunders fans will love the cover of ‘You Can’t Put Your Arms Around A Memory’, which has just been unleashed by Finnish-Algerian rocker Manna who releases her new album in May.

The Quarter Inch Collective folk are streaming two of the tracks from their Quompilation # 1, which will be out shortly on good old cassette. These are Squarehead's cover of Adebisi Shank's '(-_-)' and Sacred Animals' take on Twin Shadow's 'Castles In The Snow', both of which are impossibly wonderful. Can't wait to hear the rest!
