Future Islands formed nearly two decades ago in Maryland, but the new album comes as a "new chapter" for the band. Their sixth and most recent album As Long As You Are released in 2020, and Hot Press gave a review of the album when it was released, you can read it here. The band also recently performed in Dublin, playing in August at Collins Barracks as part of the Wider Than Pictures series.
