Irish promotion group MCD have reportedly offered the brothers a significant sum to play the iconic venue next summer.
Feuding Britpop idols Noel and Liam Gallagher have been reportedly offered a huge sum of money in order to get the two to reunite and play under the Oasis name next summer at Slane Castle. The news comes a week after Thrash Metal gods Metallica have been announced as headliners next year.
Slane was the venue where the two last took to the stage together as Oasis in 2009, two months before Noel announced he was not going to play with Liam anymore. MCD promoter Denis Desmond said in a statement after the Metallica announcement last week that "an offer is on the table", for Oasis to reform, citing Liam's insistence that someday they will reform as an example that it is possible.
In July of this year, younger brother Liam reached out to Noel on Twitter, saying he forgives him and would like to see the band get back together, saying "the drinks are on me." (Possibly a jibe at Noels supposed alcohol ban at his gigs)

Noel previously said he would reunite with his brother for "20 million quid", although at the time no one had made that offer. It is unclear how much the brothers have been offered for this reunion, but Oasis fans across the world are praying that they might get to see the pair on stage once more at Slane castle next summer.
