Galway Folk Festival has confirmed the final line-up for its 2025 edition, set to take place from June 4-8 across various venues in Galway city. The fourth edition of the festival will feature over 60 live performances across five days and five different stages.
This year’s line-up includes Lloyd Cole, Fionn Regan, KÍLA, The Scratch, Martha Wainwright, Project Smok, Seanchoíche, Daoirí Farrell and many more.
Two exclusive headline shows will lead the programme. Lloyd Cole will perform an intimate, Irish festival-exclusive set at the Town Hall Theatre. Martha Wainwright will mark 20 years since her debut album with a full live performance, featuring songs such as ‘Bloody Mother Fucking A**hole’, ‘Factory’, and ‘When The Day Is Short’.
The festival will also include a range of free daytime shows over the weekend. These include Cuppa Tea TV’s Market Stage, the Youth in Music stage, Culture Vultures hosted by Tony Clayton-Lea, and The Little Room of Folk and Westend Sessions.

Festival Directors Gary Monroe and Peter O’Sullivan said: “We’re excited to return for our fourth year of celebrating folk, roots, and traditional music. The support for the festival has been amazing, with ticket sales from all over the world.
"This year is our biggest festival to date and we're delighted to expand the free weekend daytime events which are family friendly and will have something for everyone from pop up shows to food stalls and stalls from our friends at the Tiny Traders Village.”
