This is the second release from Niamh Regan this year.
Galway singer-songwriter Niamh Regan dropped her latest single ‘Love You Senseless’ today (October 21).
‘Love You Senseless’ is a tender exploration of loving someone who needs help but won’t accept it. It combines Regan’s emotional vocals and unique songwriting with Alex Borwick’s vibrant production — resulting in a heart-wrenching track.
Regan creates a “summery sense of nostalgia and newness” with her touching lyrics as she sings “I mean I love you senseless, I love you blind / Love me through this make it worth my while,” in the song’s soaring chorus.
This is the singer’s second single from her upcoming EP In The Meantime and follows up ‘Happy Again’ which dropped in August. The forthcoming project from Regan follows up her acclaimed debut album, 2020’s Hemet which was nominated for a Choice Music Prize.
“Watching someone you love struggle can be difficult and this song focuses on the question of 'how we can fix it' and how irritable and guilty we can become when there's no immediate answer,” said Regan when talking about the song.
The Irish star is slated to embark on her Hemet tour of Ireland and the UK this November. Starting with a gig at Róisín Dubh in her hometown of Galway on November 13th and ending at The Green Note in London on November 24th. The singer will play 9 venues over the tour. Tickets for Niamh's shows are available here.
