Garth Brooks is finally coming back to Ireland with two shows announced next year.
As previously predicted by Hot Press, Garth Brooks has confirmed that he will play two shows at Croke Park next year.
Brooks will play the home of GAA on September 9 and 10 in 2022, following many rumours and hype after news broke that he was negotiating to play the venue for the first time since 1997.
The shows will be eagerly anticipated by fans of the 'Friends in Low Places' singer after the well-known controversy in 2014 when he had planned to play five shows at the stadium.
160,000 tickets had been sold for the initially announced two shows on what was meant to be the country singer's comeback tour.
Three further shows were added due to significant demand, with over 400,000 tickets sold; however, all of the gigs were cancelled as Croke Park had planning permission for only three major events that year.

Luckily this time, there is permission for more shows to be added for what will be some massive nights for Irish country music fans.
Tickets for Garth Brooks's two shows at Croke Park will go on sale Thursday, November 25 at 8 am from Ticketmaster.
