Gavin James receives first ever Brit Awards-certified single with 'Nervous'

Gavin James continues to exert his influence outside of Ireland (he's a huge hit in Brazil - if you didn't already know!).

Like a character in a video game who levels up, Gavin's 2015 single 'Nervous' has today reached "Silver status."

The single was released four years ago, and is part of his debut album, Bitter Pill.

The BRITS (the ones who do the Awards, not the ones failing to Brexit at the moment), confirmed the news in a tweet this afternoon.

The Galway-born singer continues to ride high on the success of his latest album Only Ticket Home, which was released last year.
