A true Irish gem
The second day is far from over, yet Gavin James' performance on the Main Stage felt like a true finale.
James has gone from strength to strength, having toured across Europe and the wider world. His singing voice is like no other, plucking at even the iciest of heart strings.
He performs all of the classic tunes that Irish audiences have come to cherish, sending a euphoric atmosphere across the crowd. He has them putty in his hands, asking them to sing along and provide backup to his tunes.
Next to his talents are his charms. He regularly checks in with the crowds and even gives a shoutout to his parents who are lost somewhere in the mass of people. "Look out for a Santa Clause lookalike", James chuckles in reference to his father.

Having gigged his way through a lot of Irish bars as a youth, James has come a long way, appearing in festivals across the globe. As much as we love to cherish his fantastic talents, Gavin James no longer belongs to just us. Audiences across the world have warmed to his act and his music is becoming more popular than others.
With an unforgettable performance at Electric Picnic, James continues his ascend to international dominance.
