Each week, a special guest host will be announced to bring eclectic music to Today FM's audience.
Renowned Irish singer-songwriter Gavin James is set to introduce a brand new show on the Today FM line-up this weekend.
‘Whose Show is it Anyway’ will give listeners the chance to hear a range of surprise guests every Sunday from midday to 1pm.
From musicians to comedians and more, each week, Today FM will reveal a different celebrity guest who will take control of the station for one hour to present their very own show.
This Sunday, April 25th, one of Ireland’s biggest award-winning musicians will take the reins.
With over two million singles sold, Gavin James is no stranger to the Today FM audience. In September 2019, the singer-songwriter attracted thousands of festival punters when he headlined Today FM’s Sound Garden Stage at Electric Picnic. Back in December, James celebrated the release of his latest single 'Man on the Moon by joining Hot Press for a special performance on the Lockdown Sessions' Y&E Series.

"I'm delighted to be the first to present Today FM’s new 'weekly show, ‘Whose Show Is It Anyway’. I’m really looking forward to sharing some of my favourite tunes! I can't believe they allowed me to take over the station," Gavin said of joining the Today FM line-up.
“'Whose Show Is It Anyway’ brings a unique opportunity for us to introduce some new voices to a national audience. Each week, we’ll surprise our listeners with fresh and entertaining voices from musicians, comedians, actors and more," John Caddell, Series Producer and Assistant Programming Director at Today FM, added.
"We’re delighted to have Gavin James on to launch the show this weekend. His exceptional music taste and personality are the perfect combination for any Sunday afternoon."
