Following her recent stunning set at The Academy, Gemma Dunleavy has unveiled her biggest show so far.
Gemma Dunleavy has announced a massive headline gig at the 3Olympia for next year.
The artist behind the acclaimed EP, Up De Flats, will be playing the storied venue on April 1, which will be her biggest headline show to date.
Taking to her Instagram to share the news, Gemma also revealed that there will be a pre-sale for the concert starting Wednesday, which fans can access by signing up for her mailing list in her profiles' bio.
Hot Press was at her recent appearance at The Academy in November, which our writer Chelsea Henderson described as a "stellar set."
Describing the closing moments of the show, she wrote, "the crowd – on stage and in the venue – proceeded to join in on 'Up De Flats', doing what it says in the song: "Shouting up the flats from the rooftops." It was a magical ending to a stellar set, cementing the impressive sense of community created by Dunleavy's music."
Up De Flats was one of the most acclaimed Irish releases of the year when it came out in late 2020, with Hot Press' Stuart Clark describing the title track as "one of the best things you'll hear".
