The Irish singer-songwriter and composer Gemma Hayes last released an album back in 2014, her fifth musical collection Bones + Longing.

Her sixth studio album, something that has yet to be publicly named, has been long awaited since. Due to release this September, Hayes' has yet to release anything from the untitled project.

Until now.

Taking to Twitter, the artist has revealed some exciting news: her first single from her upcoming album High & Low is coming out in just a few weeks, on June 23rd.

The new album has been on the edges of the public's periphery since 2020, when Hayes revealed plans to release a few tracks that autumn - plans that unfortunately were unable to come to fruition. Between postponed release dates and a deferred tour, the confirmation that 'High & Low' is finally set to drop is a triumph for alternative-rock fans everywhere.

Other tracks expected on the album include 'Hey Man' and 'A Reminder of Another.'
