The Frank & Walters and The Eskies are just some of the acts set to perform at the venue this spring.
Gibneys of Malahide have been building their profile as a live music venue in recent months.
Intent on providing an alternative to the venues in Dublin city centre, Gibneys have been running a seasonal series of gigs on Thursday nights, supported by Heineken.
The philosophy, according to the owners themselves, has been to book great live performers and show that quality live music can also be found even in the suburbs.
So far, Gibneys have welcomed tribute shows in the form of These Charming Men, Mack Fleetwood, Aja and Amazing, and the George Michael Tribute throughout their winter series. But the upcoming Spring Series will feature an all original line-up.
Set to perform throughout the months ahead will be The 4 Of Us (Acoustic) on April 18, The Frank & Walters (acoustic) on April 25, and The ESKIES on May 2. There will also be a unique showcase night on May 9 for two of the most talented new artists in Ireland: KARMS, with Waldorf & Cannon. Tickets range from €10 - €20 depending on the artist and each ticket includes a drink. Shows also finish early enough to catch the last trains and buses home. THE 4 OF US
Making a very welcome return to Gibneys, THE 4 OF US are one of the most acclaimed bands in Ireland, having been a steadfast part of Irish music history for 30 years.
Blending contemporary roots with rock, the award- winning band was formed by brothers Brendan and Declan Murphy from the border town of Newry in Northern Ireland.
Their truly unique sound has garnered a large and loyal fan base and an enviable catalogue of timeless songs, including numerous Top 20 Irish charting albums and hit singles. Regulars on Irish radio playlists, their music has also been featured on American, UK, and Irish TV and film soundtracks.
THE 4 OF US shot to early fame towards the end of 1989 with their debut Songs for the Tempted, which featured the massive hits Mary and Drag My Bad Name Down.
The Frank & Walters (acoustic)
The Frank and Walters are a near-legendary alternative pop band from Cork City. Founded in 1989 and named in honour of two eccentric Cork characters, Frank & Walters are making their debut appearance at Gibneys this spring, ahead of their appearance in July at the Feis Liverpool 2019 and Independence Festival in Cork in August. Still one of Ireland's most favoured bands, The Frank and Walters are currently enjoying chart success with their songs 'After All' and 'This Is Not A Song', which are both featured on Feile Classical: The Live Album.
THE ESKIES
Hailing from Dublin, The Eskies bring their unique brand of folk noir/gypsy jazz/sea shanty and swaggering stage spectacle to ballrooms and booze houses far and wide. The release of their second album And Don’t Spare The Horses on Absolute Record has cemented their position of one of the best emerging artists from Ireland. Last year saw them play over 40 festivals in 5 countries, as well as being invited to the influential new music festival Eurosonic Festival. Other notable festival performances included Glastonbury Main Stage Avalon, Main Stage Cambridge and Bestival. They have just finished a tour of Australia which took them to Port Fairy Festival - who invited them half way around the planet before they had released a single song!

KARMS
KARMS first turned heads in 2017 with single, 'We Always Lose', an energetic anthem that just never seemed to quit.
Not leaving too much time for breathing, the band soon released their EP, River, a bone crushing selection of songs politely polished off with the silky, tender, 'Beautiful Magic'.
Not one to shy away from a live show, the band have had support slots with Fatherson, The Amazons, Arcane Roots and The Strypes. They've
also headlined sold out shows at Whelan's and played at last year's Other Voices in Ballina.
In 2018, KARMS released their debut album Satellites and are currently in studio recording for a stream of releases this year.
WALDORF & CANNON
An alternative multi-instrumentalist duo from Derry and Donegal, Waldorf & Cannon have played everywhere since their debut album was released in 2017, performing at most major Irish festivals. They also toured with Frank Turner & the Sleeping Souls and even embarked on a mini tour of Russia. Whilst recording a live session for Today FM at Other Voices Fest, Dingle, they covered 'Sabotage' by the Beastie Boys, which went down a storm, knocking up over 40,000 views.
