2020’s A Hero’s Death saw Dubliners Fontaines D.C. land a #2 album in the UK, receive nominations at the GRAMMYs, BRITs and Ivor Novello Awards, and sell out London’s Alexandra Palace.

The band returned with their third record this year, Skinty Fia, which claimed the No.1 spot on the UK and Irish charts. Meaning “the damnation of the deer” in rough translation, the album is part bittersweet romance, part darkly political triumph.
