The Waterboys is an British-Irish folk rock band which was formed in 1983 by Mike Scott in Edinburgh. Although the members of the band have varied throughout the years, Scott has remained its only permanent member. Their career began with their self titled debut album, followed by A Pagan Place in 1984 which dubbed their sound as “The Big Music”. The style was described by Scott as “a metaphor for seeing God’s signature in the world.” Their most recent release came out last year called Out Of All This Blues
