The iconic singer songwriter will return to Ireland for a number of shows in Kilkenny, Cork and Dublin later this year.
Gilbert O'Sullivan is set to return to Ireland this coming September.
The Irish singer-songwriter announced that he will play a date at the Watergate Theatre, Kilkenny on September 1. Gilbert will then head down to Cork Opera House on September 3 and finally play at the National Concert Hall Dublin on September 7 and 8.
O'Sullivan has had a long and hugely successful career, from his initial burst of hits in the '70s such as 'Alone Again', 'Clair', and 'Get Down' to full orchestral performances, and even Latin music with his 2015 album Latin Ala G!.

Gilbert’s self-titled album was released last August and reached the Top 20 in the UK Charts, receiving critical acclaim worldwide, including in Hot Press. To celebrate this release, and the associated resurgence of his career, Gilbert will be performing a series of rare solo concerts that will see him present new songs alongside all his classics in an intimate, acoustic setting.
Tickets for the Kilkenny show will go on sale this Friday on June 7. For more information visit the Watergate Theatre website.
