Legendary Waterford singer-songwriter Gilbert O’Sullivan has announced that he will play The Olympia Theatre on March 10 next year. It will be his only show in the capital with no possible extra dates to be added. O’Sullivan releases his latest album Gilbertville in January 2011, so the Olympia date may be one of the few chances you get to hear him play the new stuff live. He’s sure to run through a lot of the old favourites as well.

Tickets go on sale Friday December 3 at 9am. Tickets are priced at €35 including booking fee and are available from all the usual outlets and ticketmaster.ie.
