It will be the band's first release in nearly four years.
Dublin rock band Girl Band have announced a new single, Shoulderblades, will be released on 6 June.
This will be their first music release since their debut album in 2015, Holding Hands With Jamie.
Alongside a digital release, Girl Band also had 750 12" vinyl copies available to pre-order. At the moment, they are currently sold out.
"Sonically, the landscape warps from a dissonant, distant horizon to a threatening “shh!”, the sawing note panning from ear to ear, the uncomfortable atonal blanket that wraps around you, initiating you into the new world of Girl Band," says their website. "Shoulderblades is a moment, a study, a significant detail from the greater surrealist portrait to come.

Due to health reasons, the band had to go on hiatus in 2017 and cancel their remaining tour shows.
Their album Holding Hands With Jamie was met with critical acclaim and was hailed as the Irish debut album of the year by Hot Press.
