The Scots continue their European tour of U2 fan event after show gigs with Dublin and Berlin dates
Supporting local band, The Joshua Tree, December will play The Button Factory and Anderson’s on November 8 and 9. Following the release of their single ‘Alison Stewart’, they’ve been embraced by the U2 fan community and are regularly asked to play fan events in and around each tour. In the past year, they’ve played shows in Sao Paulo, Montreal, Copenhagen and Amsterdam.
Guitarist, Paul Ferrie said:
“All of this took us by surprise really as we’ve never done these types of gigs before. We’ve been U2 fans all of our lives and really just meant to put out the Alison Stewart single and video in 2015 as a bit of a tribute. Since then it has been a privilege to be invited to play all over the world to like-minded fans. We’ve been amazed by the kindness and warmth of the reception at the after-show gigs.”
“We all owe U2 a debt of thanks not just for their music, inspiration and example but for the community their music has gifted us. In their current tour they are better than ever, and we look forward to catching the show again on the last night in Dublin.”

December released their most recent album of original material Sister and Brothers in April 2018 to critical acclaim. Last year, the band released 33, an album of reinterpretations of U2 classics. They formed after seeing the original Joshua Tree Tour in 1987.
