Glasgow band December have announced that their new album, I Will Not Run, will be released on 1 September.
The project follows 2020’s God Is Not a Man and is the group’s fourth LP of original material since 2016.
The lead single ‘I See You In Valour’, was written in memory of the late Sinead O’Connor.
Featuring guitar-driven rock throughout, the record contains ten original songs and one cover, U2’s ‘Love Comes Tumbling’.
December will play a string of dates in Scotland and the U.S in support of the album, kicking off with a sold-out show at SWG3’s Poetry Club on 30 September.

Alongside I Will Not Run is the band’s second album of U2 covers, Barrowlands, Shadowlands, out 1 October.
Influenced by legends such as U2 and Bruce Springsteen, December formed after seeing U2’s Joshua Tree tour in 1987 in Scotland.
They released 33, a 10 track celebration of U2’s music in 2017 and have favourites of the U2 online fan community, being invited to play fan events across the world.
“The new album is a bit heart on sleeve. The songs are about how your life can breakdown sometimes and about trying to rebuild, said Ails, December’s lead singer. “We also were really impacted by Sinead O’Connor’s death and wanted to say how much we as fans appreciated her.”

“We should all have said more while she was alive,” he added. “So we are dedicating ‘I see you in valour’ to her because she was brave and defiant on important issues when others stayed quiet.”
