Glastonbury have announced the line-up for their Left Field area, including Irish bands SPRINTS and Pillow Queens.
Often considered one of the most political part of the festival, Left Field brings together activists and artists to address pressing issues such as the cost of living, housing and wars through various panels and concerts.
Headlining the area with singer and activist Billy Bragg are Charlotte Church, Noah Lonegran, Jack Jones and more. Other acts include Trampolene, Big Special and Calum Bowie, among others.

All the musical acts of Left Field have been selected for their political messaging, accompanying a string of six panels such as Israel Palestine: hope and solidarity in action, and How to end the housing crisis.
Panellists will include a number of British Labour MPs. For the full list of events, click here.
Pillow Queens released their latest album, Name Your Sorrow, last month, which was rated a 9/10 by Hot Press and described as: “a superb guitar record, reminiscent at times of the cyclone sonics of Wilco’s Yankee Hotel Foxtrot.”
SPRINTS most recently announced that they would be supporting the band IDLES on their upcoming UK and Ireland tour. They will also be playing two headline shows in Dublin’s The Button Factory on May 3 and 4.
