Participating artists will have the chance to perform at the world-famous festival spanning across 900 acres of farmland.
Glastonbury Festival has announced details regarding their 2025 Emerging Talent Competition.
Supported by PRS for Music and the PRS Foundation, the winning musical act will receive a slot on one of their main stages at the festival. Participants from the UK and Ireland are free to enter between 9 a.m. January 27 and 5 p.m. on February 3 using the form listed on the Glastonbury Festival website.
Those looking to enter the contest must submit a Youtube link to an original song and a link of a live performance. In addition to a slot at the festival, the winner will earn a £5,000 Talent Development prize from the PRS Foundation, and two runners-up will each win £2,500.
“For more than 20 years the Emerging Talent Competition has discovered and nurtured new voices, created a global platform and offered musicians the opportunity to gain exposure in front of large audiences,” said President of the PRS Members’ Council and former singer of Longpigs, Crispin Hunt. “Playing Glastonbury was one of the most amazing experiences of my career and I’d encourage all music creators to submit a song for a chance to perform at the world’s largest greenfield music and performing arts festival.”

Former winners of the competition include artists like N’famady Kouyaté, Marie White and Declan McKenna. Last year the winner was Jamaican-Irish rapper JayaHadADream, who later went on to perform at other festivals like Reading, Leeds and Boomtown.
"Winning the Glastonbury competition changed my life in many ways,” she said. “It opened up so many opportunities. I’ve had a lot of industry and press interest and worked with artists I’ve grown up listening to. It also allowed me to print my vinyl through the funding which was a dream come true. My fanbase has grown too thanks to this!”
This year's festival will begin on June 25 and last until June 29. Neil Young will headline at the Pyramid Stage, while the full lineup has yet to be announced.
