Tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2023 will go on sale on November 6 at 9am.
Festival-goers have been left concerned, following the announcement that the price of a Glastonbury ticket has gone up once more to £335 plus booking fee. Festival co-organiser Emily Eavis has blamed 'incredibly challenging times' for the price increase.
Ticket prices have risen by £70 in the last three years. In 2019, a standard festival ticket for the subsequently cancelled 2020 festival was £265 with a £5 booking fee, which went up to £280 plus a £5 booking fee in 2021, due to inflation. Attending Glastonbury 2023, however, will set you back £335 plus the £5 booking fee.
Tickets for next year's festival, which returns to Worthy Farm in Somerset from June 21–25, 2023 will go on sale on November 6 at 9am. At that stage, a £50 deposit will be due (plus coach fare if booking a ticket + coach travel), with the balance payable in the first week of April.

Co-organiser Emily Eavis stated on Twitter that challenging times are behind the price increase.
"We have tried very hard to minimise the increase in price on the ticket but we’re facing enormous rises in the costs of running this vast show, whilst still recovering from the huge financial impact of two years without a festival because of COVID," she explained.
"The £50 deposit on ticket sales day in November will be the same as ever, with the balance not due until April. And, as always, there will be opportunities for many thousands of people to come as volunteers or as part of the crew."
Eavis concluded: "In these incredibly challenging times, we want to continue to bring you the best show in the world and provide our charities with funds which are more vital than ever. We are, as always, hugely appreciative of your ongoing support."
While performers for Glastonbury 2023 have not yet been announced, Sir Paul McCartney, Kendrick Lamar and Billie Eilish headlined the festival, which celebrated its 50th anniversary, this year.
Festival founder Michael Eavis has confirmed during an interview with BBC Sounds that all three headliners for next year's festival have already been booked.
Among those rumoured to be performing are huge names such as Arctic Monkeys, Taylor Swift, Eminem, Harry Styles and Elton John.
