Go Down

Go Down is the debut EP from Dublin group ellison 9. The band (who take their name from a care unit in an American hospital for people with serious heart defects) formed in 2003, and are building up a good live following in Dublin. In Go Down they’ve traded in their predominantly acoustic sound, for an enchanting, sublime and relaxed layered electric-guitar sound. The harmonies are faultless, and the violins and trumpets are a real treat. Intimate, haunting and quite addictive.
